The Ministry of Defence announced that the final phase of construction for the first Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) will be completed by the end of the year. The ship will undergo a series of tests including the Harbour Acceptance Test (HAT) and Sea Acceptance Trial (SAT) over the next two years.
