Dr Atika Azura, Malaysia's 2023 Queen of the World, challenges beauty stereotypes by participating in a pageant that promotes beauty in every form, regardless of age and marital status.
A woman should feel beautiful regardless of age and what she does for a living. This also means no age limitations as in some pageants. When one pageant offered such opportunity with the tagline “Beauty Redefined”, Dr Atika Azura did not hesitate and is thankful she entered. Atika is Malaysia ’s 2023 Queen of the World and is preparing for the final in New York next April in the “Ms” category.
The 32-year old Medical Director said she came across a post on Instagram calling for auditions for the 2023 Queen of The World. “This pageant separated itself from other pageants in the way that it promoted beauty in every form, shape, size, and colour. “I was in the Ms Category, which is for unmarried women in their 30s. We have an elite Mrs Category for married women in their 50s. “It’s really about saying ‘regardless of your marital status and age, you can still be beautiful in your own way’,” she sai
