: Malaysia merekodkan kehadiran seramai 4.82 juta pelancong Muslim dengan anggaran perbelanjaan melebihi RM15 bilion setakat November tahun lepas, berbanding 4.5 juta dengan perbelanjaan RM14.7 bilion, pada 2023.
Beliau berkata demikian dalam ucapan perasmian IslamiCruise Malaysia-Saudia, yang turut dihadiri Menteri Pelancongan, Seni dan Budaya Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing serta Pengasas IslamiCruise International Suhaimi Abd Ghafer. Beliau berkata antaranya Malaysia mempunyai infrastruktur pelancongan Islam dan hospitaliti mesra Muslim yang dibangunkan dengan baik termasuk pilihan hotel, restoran, produk serta perkhidmatan yang disahkan halal.
Sementara itu, Ahmad Zahid selaku Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Tahun Melawat Malaysia 2026 turut menyasarkan kemasukan lebih 35.6 juta pelancong dengan jangkaan pendapatan yang dapat dijana negara pada sekitar RM147.1 bilion.
