Malaysia has seen a 15.3% increase in corporate capital expenditure (Capex) for 2024, signaling enhanced confidence from both domestic and international investors, according to the CEO of MARC Ratings Berhad. This growth reflects the country's robust economic policies and ongoing initiatives to attract high-value investments across various sectors.
PETALING JAYA: Malaysia mencatatkan pertumbuhan 15.3 peratus dalam perbelanjaan modal korporat untuk 2024, menunjukkan peningkatan keyakinan daripada pelabur domestik dan antarabangsa, kata Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif MARC Ratings Berhad.
“Kami melihat trend peningkatan pelaburan yang tertumpu kepada kelestarian dan inovasi, yang seiring dengan visi kami untuk masa depan ekonomi Malaysia,” ujarnya. Selain itu, beliau turut menekankan bahawa pelaburan langsung asing juga memainkan peranan penting dalam lonjakan ini, dengan kemampuan Malaysia untuk menarik syarikat multinasional besar mengukuhkan kedudukannya dalam pasaran global.
Jelasnya, langkah terancang itu menjadi fokus dalam perbincangan dasar, mencerminkan keperluan pendekatan yang seimbang.
