Malaysia posts second month of deflation in February

MALAYSIA recorded a second straight month of deflation last month as consumer prices fell 0.4% year-on-year, said the Statistics Department. The consumer price index dropped 0.7% in January, sparking worry for policymakers at a time when economic growth is also under pressure.
