The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is investigating a group who wore uniforms resembling those of Malaysia's security forces at an event. Police have taken statements from three individuals and are awaiting six more witnesses. The investigation could fall under several sections of Malaysian law, including the Penal Code, Societies Act, and the Communications Multimedia Act.

Katanya, siasatan lanjut masih dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti motif individu terbabit berpakaian begitu. PDRM membuka satu kertas siasatan berhubung tindakan beberapa individu sebuah pertubuhan berpakaian rasmi menyerupai pakaian istiadat pasukan keselamatan negara di sebuah majlis. Beliau dilapor berkata, beberapa individu menghadiri satu majlis dengan memakai pakaian rasmi yang hampir menyerupai pakaian istiadat pasukan beruniform.
