Timbalan menteri tenaga, sains, teknologi, alam sekitar dan perubahan iklim berkata, kerjasama itu untuk memudahkan proses pengeluaran sisa 'Water Leached Purification' dihasilkan kilang Lynas, yang sepatutnya dihantar ke Australia sebelum September ini.

Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis berkata, pasukan petugas ditubuhkan kerajaan sedang mengenal pasti prosedur dan instrumen antarabangsa berkaitan untuk proses penghantaran keluar sisa WLP dari kilang Lynas di Kuantan, Pahang.

Timbalan Menterinya, Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis berkata, kerjasama itu bagi mencari jalan dalam usaha memudahkan proses pengeluaran sisa “Water Leached Purification” yang dihasilkan kilang Lynas, yang sepatutnya dihantar ke Australia sebelum September ini. Beliau menjawab soalan Wong Chen mengenai langkah kerajaan dalam memastikan sisa buangan Lynas dikembalikan ke Australia.
