YANGON: Hundreds of mourners turned out Wednesday (June 5) to pay their respects to a former Myanmar general turned democracy activist and confidant of Aung San Suu Kyi, in a rare sanctioned public gathering in the junta-controlled commercial capital.
KUALA LUMPUR: The newly launched Malaysia Madani National Training aims to equip youth for today's evolving challenges, such as digital advancements , new energy , and AI, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim .
"Therefore, the youth must seize these opportunities. New challenges, with an emphasis on digital, new energy, and AI, demand new measures to be taken with a new spirit," he said.Meanwhile, he added that the module's focus is on patriotism and the sacrifices of Malaysia's forefathers. "I am inviting you all to get back on track to elevate the country, with confidence, with the spirit of unity, the love for the nation, and the belief that this country can be elevated as a great nation in the eyes of the world," he said."Malaysia, as a trading nation, requires core strength but also needs external confidence and investment," Anwar added.
"Imagine poor parents willing to give up their rings, bracelets, and necklaces to fund leaders flying to London to negotiate with the British for independence.
