Beruang Matahari dipilih kerana ia merupakan spesies beruang terkecil di dunia dan merupakan spesies yang unik serta asli di kawasan tropika Asia Tenggara termasuk Malaysia. Difahamkan, watak Wira dan Manja itu direka dalam gaya animasi yang comel dan menarik untuk memikat semua peringkat umur selain menarik kedatangan pelancong ke negara ini. Pada majlis yang sama, PMX turut melancarkan logo VM2026 yang melambangkan budaya berwarna-warni, keindahan semula jadi dan daya tarikan Malaysia kepada global.
