Malaysia Experts Defend Bilingual Signboards Prioritizing Malay Language

Experts in Malaysia have defended the enforcement of bilingual signboard regulations that prioritize the Malay language, stating that these regulations are in line with the Advertisement By-Laws (Federal Territories) 1982 and the Local Government Act 1976. The comments come in response to the Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister's disagreement with the regulations enforcement, which he believes has caused dissatisfaction among tourists.
