The Malaysian Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) urges local solar industry players to explore alternative markets, particularly within the ASEAN region, to reduce dependence on the United States (US). This comes after the US imposed tariffs on solar panel imports from four Southeast Asian countries, including Malaysia.
