Malaysia's Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) implemented a successful staff rotation program, significantly impacting its performance and revenue collection. The program resulted in a 18.85% increase in revenue collection, reaching RM65.57 billion in the previous year. The rotation program, involving 840 officers across various grades, aims to enhance operational efficiency, integrity, and employee expertise. It also fosters collaboration, breaks down communication barriers, and promotes a holistic understanding of the department's functions.
PETALING JAYA: Pelaksanaan pusingan kerja dilaksanakan Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia memberi impak signifikan kepada prestasi agensi terbabit termasuk pencapaian kutipan hasil sebanyak RM65.57 bilion pada tahun lalu.
Menurutnya, pelaksanaan pusingan kerja secara menyeluruh menjadi antara langkah strategik utama dalam memperkukuhkan keberkesanan tadbir urus serta mengurangkan risiko integriti di lokasi berisiko tinggi. Menurutnya, pelaksanaan itu selaras dengan Pekeliling Perkhidmatan Sumber Manusia , Ceraian UP.2.2.1, dan Perintah Tetap Perjawatan Bilangan 78 .
“Ia memberi peluang kepada pegawai meningkatkan kecekapan individu dan pasukan melalui pendedahan kepada pelbagai peranan di samping mengekalkan keseimbangan beban kerja antara bahagian kritikal dengan memastikan tenaga kerja yang mencukupi dan kompeten,” katanya.
