: Menteri Pelaburan, Perdagangan dan Industri Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz berkata laporan daripada Pejabat Penyelidikan Makroekonomi Asean+3 mengenai pertumbuhan ekonomi Malaysia baru-baru ini telah menonjolkan potensi Malaysia untuk menjadi negara berpendapatan tinggi menjelang 2030, dipacu oleh peningkatan dalam aliran masuk pelaburan langsung asing .
Malaysia berdedikasi untuk menarik syarikat berteknologi tinggi dan menggalakkan kemajuan rantaian nilai dalam industri sedia ada. Tengku Zafrul membalas kiriman media kewangan tempatan yang memetik Amro mengenai ekonomi Malaysia dan kemuncak kitaran naik semikonduktor pada akhir tahun. Amro juga berkata pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam blok serantau itu dijangka bertambah baik, berdasarkan eksport yang lebih tinggi berdasarkan pengembangan kitaran dalam semikonduktor, pengukuhan berterusan dalam penggunaan barangan di Amerika Syarikat dan permintaan untuk perjalanan serta perkhidmatan.
