Two Malaysian badminton pairs, Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah and Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun, secured their spots in the final of the Indonesia Masters 2025 after winning their respective semi-final matches. Pearly-Thinaah defeated the Korean duo of Lee Yeon Woo-Lee Yu Lim, while Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun upset the world No. 5 pair of Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik. Both pairs will be aiming for the title in the finals.
PETALING JAYA: Dua beregu badminton Malaysia mara ke final selepas Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah dan Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun menewaskan lawan masing-masing pada separuh akhir Indonesia Masters 2025 di Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Indonesia, hari ini.
Ketika ditemu bual selepas perlawanan, Thinaah berkata, kejayaan mara ke final amat penting bagi mengembali keyakinan mereka ekoran prestasi kurang konsisten. Pearly pula ketika ditanya mengenai persembahan di separuh akhir berkata, kadang-kala mereka hilang fokus yang menjadi punca kepada lawan berjaya bangkit dan mengejar dari belakang.
Kali terakhir Pearly-Thinaah mara ke final ialah pada Terbuka Arctic, Oktober lepas dan Terbuka Hong Kong, September lalu merupakan kejohanan terakhir beregu wanita No. 1 Malaysia itu merangkul gelaran.
