KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police and the Australian Federal Police are committed to working together to curb cybercrimes in both countries.
Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the workshop's primary objective is to strengthen enforcement against the sexual exploitation of children, especially on pornographic websites. "The workshop clearly shows how PDRM, under the leadership of Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, and AFP are committed to enhancing enforcement efforts by both countries in dealing with cybercrimes, particularly online sexual exploitation.
Comm Mohd Shuhaily noted that a total of 10 senior officers from the CID Sexual, Women and Child Investigations Division Malaysia Internet Crimes Against Children unit, as well as four CID officers from other divisions, took part in the workshop.
