: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese have discussed efforts to improve bilateral relations and cooperation in various sectors under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership framework.
“This was an opportunity to exchange views on issues of mutual interest including regional and international developments, in addition to discussing the second Malaysia-Australia Annual Leaders’ Meeting which will be hosted by Australia,“ he said in a post on Facebook, tonight. The total bilateral trade between Malaysia and Australia increased by 55.4 per cent in 2022 to RM88.65 billion , making Australia Malaysia’s 10th largest trading partner globally.
