The Malaysian government has approved RM431 million through the 12th Malaysia Plan (RMK12) Rolling Plan 5 (RP5) 2025 for 70 continuation and 41 new projects under the Department of Polytechnic and Community Colleges (JPPKK). The allocation aims to support the nation's TVET empowerment aspirations. The projects encompass new campus construction, land acquisition for new campuses, procurement of new equipment, replacement of outdated academic equipment, building extensions, infrastructure and building upgrades, program development, and digital development for polytechnics and community colleges (POLYCC) nationwide. Additionally, RM41.6 million is allocated for upgrading projects, including those for dilapidated structures, involving 36 polytechnics and 106 community colleges. RM5 million is also earmarked for developing disability-friendly infrastructure in every polytechnic and community college building to ensure no student is left behind.

Beliau berkata kelulusan ini melibatkan projek pembangunan kampus baharu, perolehan tanah bagi kampus baharu, perolehan peralatan baharu, penggantian peralatan akademik usang, pembinaan tambahan bangunan, kerja menaik taraf infrastruktur dan bangunan, pembangunan program serta pembangunan digital bagi Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti seluruh negara.
“Terdapat juga peruntukan RM5 juta bagi pembangunan infra mesra bagi Orang Kurang Upaya di setiap bangunan politeknik dan kolej komuniti bagi memastikan tiada pelajar terpinggir sekali gus menyediakan persekitaran kondusif buat pelajar istimewa ini. Dalam pada itu, Mohamad Azhan berkata pelaksanaan Rancangan Pembangunan PolyCC 10 Tahun ini ialah langkah penting untuk menjadikan Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti sebagai pusat kecemerlangan TVET bertaraf dunia melalui Rancangan Utama iaitu ‘9 Big Plans’.
