In light of the recent conflict in the region, he said MAS would also avoid the Iranian airspace in the course of its aircraft operations to other destinations.
"The happenings in the Middle East has raised our concern and rest assured MAS gives the utmost importance to its flight safety, which includes immediate communication alerts, global security reports and active notes from respective airspace control authorities in the event of a reroute," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
