Planned for 800 residential units, it’s one of more than two dozen properties on the market following StoryBuilt Homes’ receivership.
StoryBuilt Homes – which previously constructed houses under the PSW Real Estate brand - has built Dallas-area communities in Oak Cliff, Dallas and Plano.– this summer shut down operations, laid off employees and sought voluntary receivership. The more than 30-year-old builder has completed housing projects in Oak Cliff, Dallas and Plano.
The property was planned for a mixed-use development called Jolene, which was to include 800 condos, townhomes and apartments plus retail space. It’s the largest of the StoryBuilt development sites for sale.
Along with the Dallas site and properties in the Austin area, other real estate is for sale in Seattle and Denver. “The availability of StoryBuilt’s position in one or more of these 17 projects is an extraordinary opportunity for qualified developers,” said Emilio Amendola, co-president of A&G Real Estate Partners. “You’re creating the opportunity to develop or complete these assets and receive substantial fees associated with things like construction, site work and construction management and supervision.
