Victoria’s Political Reporter Simon Love says the “emphatic” by-election win in Warrandyte is a “major marker” for Victorian Opposition Leader John Pesutto as Labor are expected to attempt to shift the focus away. “Labor will probably be trying to get the focus off from this big win for the Liberals,” Mr Love told Sky News Australia. “Expect to see a major piece of work, a housing statement at least from Daniel Andrews which would include billions of spending – the government will try and shift the focus to that.”
