There are major traffic delays heading into Melbourne Airport due to a multi-vehicle collision. The crash happened just after 10am on the Tullamarine Freeway just after Mickleham Rd with three outbound lanes closed as a result.
One lane remains open and motorists have been urged to allow extra time and merge with caution. Drivers heading to the airport should consider taking Airport Dr from the M80 Ring Rd as an alternative. Details of the crash and the extent of injuries are not yet known. Emergency services are on the scene.
