Major crash involving 18-wheeler blocks several lanes on South Loop

Several eastbound lanes of the I-610 South Loop are blocked at Crestmont.

The crash occurred shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday in the eastbound lanes of the I-610 South Loop at Crestmont.

All eastbound lanes were shutdown, but as of 6:20 a.m., it appears that at least one lane of traffic is getting through.According to Houston Transtar, three vehicles were involved in the crash. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
