Remaining stock will be sold at clearance prices online, with remaining brick-and-mortar stores to close down.
Unfortunately efforts to restructure the business and strengthen sales channels were not enough to save the retailer. Alice McCall went into administration in 2020 due to the effects of COVID, and officially went into liquidation on Friday.Purchas said at the time of administration that some of the brand’s 14 stores across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane were set to close.
