LEWISTON -- Officials say 18 people were shot and killed at a restaurant and a bowling alley in Lewiston on Wednesday night, and 13 people were hurt.AThursday afternoon, Maine State Police released a timeline of its investigation into the mass shooting.The Auburn Communications Center receives the first report of a man walking into Spare Time Recreation on Mollison Street in Lewiston and shooting. This initial report was confirmed by more 911 calls.
Maine State Police confirms that seven people were killed at Sparetime Recreation, and eight people were killed at Schemengees Bar and Grille. Three more people died after being taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston for treatment.Dozens of people targeted at bowling alley, playing pool at bar and grill around dinner timeThe U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters confirms that the Coast Guard is part of the manhunt for the suspect.
