Mahkamah Persekutuan Thai bubar parti calon puteri raja sebagai perdana menteri

Panel 9 hakim sebulat suara memutuskan pembubaran Parti Thai Raksa Chart yang mencalonkan puteri Ubolratana Rajakanya sebagai calon perdana menteri.

BANGKOK: Mahkamah Perlembagaan Thailand hari ini memutuskan untuk membubarkan Parti Thai Raksa Chart yang mencalonkan seorang puteri raja sebagai calon perdana menteri pada pilihan raya umum 24 Mac.

Panel 9 hakim memutuskan sebulat suara bagi pembubaran parti tersebut dan membuat keputusan 6-3 untuk mengenakan larangan selama 10 tahun ke atas 14 anggota eksekutuif daripada menyertai politik. Terdahulu, beratus-ratus anggota polis dan keselamatan berada di kompleks mahkamah sementara pusat pemeriksaan dibuka di kawasan itu.
