Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi berkata, tiada sebab menunjukkan Gopal Sri Ram berat sebelah dalam mengendalikan kes berkaitan 1MDB.
Mahkamah Tinggi menolak permohonan Najib Razak mengetepikan Gopal Sri Ram sebagai timbalan pendakwa raya dalam kes bekas perdana menteri itu.
KUALA LUMPUR: Mahkamah Tinggi hari ini menolak permohonan Najib Razak untuk mengetepikan Gopal Sri Ram sebagai ketua pendakwa bagi kes berkaitan 1MDB. Hakim, Collin Lawrence Sequerah berkata, tiada sebab menunjukkan Sri Ram berat sebelah sebagai timbalan pendakwa raya yang mengendalikan kes itu. “Tiada asas untuk orang awam membuat kesimpulan tertuduh tidak akan mempunyai perbicaraan adil jika GSR mengendalikan kes itu,” katanya merujuk parap Sri Ram.
