Flower Mound High School Band will debut in Macys' Thanksgiving Parade
Students at Denton County school added additional practices as they worked to prepare for annual holiday event broadcast to millions of viewers.The members of the Flower Mound marching band won’t be in North Texas this Thanksgiving holiday, loading up on turkey, dressing and all the trimmings.
“I really attribute all of this, the experience that we’re gonna have to the people that have come before us, the only way that we would have gotten picked out of all of these people is because of those people that came before us,” Allie said. “Some of the stuff we’ve had to learn was to have really good communication,” Allie said. “Everybody’s responsible for someone.”
