PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission officers will give their full support to their new chief commissioner Latheefa Koya, its deputy chief commissioner Azam Baki said today.

“We will provide all the support for her to discharge her duties effectively and efficiently,” he said.Latheefa, a lawyer, replaced Mohd Shukri Abdull, whose contract was allowed to expire ahead of its deadline on May 17, 2020.Azam said that since the inception of the Anti-Corruption Agency in 1967 and later the MACC in 2009, 10 of the 13 heads, including Latheefa, were outsiders.
