PUTRAJAYA: Graft-busters have formed a forensic team to scrutinise allegations of misappropriations in connection with RM157mil losses incurred by UiTM Holdings Sdn Bhd.
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said the case is still under investigation and so far the commission will not divulge further details."I have to remind everyone that losses do not necessarily mean there is a criminal element involved. We have to be fair," he told reporters after attending the memorandum of understanding signing between the MACC, Universiti Teknologi Mara and Malaysian Institute of Accounting on Tuesday .
On Feb 10, the MACC investigated allegations of leakages amounting to over RM157mil in losses suffered by UiTM Holdings Sdn Bhd.
