MACC detains duo 6 days over false claims
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has detained two people in relation to a false claim on the rehabilitation of a river by the Perak Tengah Drainage and Irrigation Department. – The Malaysian Insight pic, June 19, 2019.
TWO individuals are remanded six days from today to help in investigation on a false claim case on the rehabilitation of a river by the Drainage and Irrigation Department in Perak Tengah District last year. Magistrate Nurul Hafizah Mohammad Pauzi allowed the application by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission that a 58-year-old assistant engineer and a 57-year-old contractor be remanded until Monday.
