, a local non-profit organization that trains and provides mobility and autism service dogs to empower children with special needs throughout 35 counties of northeast and central Ohio. he service dogs are trained by inmates via the ODRC Accredited Apprenticeship.
This year’s participants are familiar foodie names including Barrio, Brew Kettle, Great Lakes Brewpub, Landmark Smokehouse, Luxe, Ninja City, Nora’s Public House, Nuevo, OLD RIVER TAP AND SOCIAL, Pink Piggy BBQ, Q’s Café, Ridgewood Kitchen & Spirits, Saucy Brew Works, Sol, Tavern of Little Italy, The Burnham Restaurant, The Southside, Twisted Taino Restaurant and Viking Food Co.
More than a dozen craft brews, spirits and wines will be available to wash down the cheesy pasta creations. Restaurants and food trucks will compete in two categories. “Classic Mac” challenges chefs to create classic, vegetarian-friendly versions. “Modern Mac” has no rules. They will be evaluated by a panel of celebrity judges and a people’s choice voting by text. This year’s judging panel includes WKYC’s Monica Robins, Cleveland Scene’s Andrew Zelman, “Cheese King” Michael Januska of Old Brooklyn Cheese Company andAcoustic bands will play on stage.
General admission includes all-you-can-eat samples and one non-boozy beverage ticket. VIP tickets are $50 and include all-you-can-eat tastes, a private VIP open bar and access to a VIP private seating and bar area.
