YouTubers are known for making a lot of money, especially IF their content is well-made and relatable to the audience. A Malaysian YouTuber, however, said
things have changed.
“You can’t make money from being a YouTuber alone today. It seems like many people don’t really watch YouTube anymore.”Bryson himself said that he was informed by his friends that they rarely watched YouTube videos today, most probably due to other options that are available out there today. The YouTubers also agreed that people who surf YouTube today are mostly there for talk shows that are uploaded on the platform, and they mostly watch it during lunch break or before they go to bed.
In the video, they were also upfront about how much they make today, and the amount is probably much, much lesser than you think. With that figure staring at you, being a YouTuber alone is not enough.
