'I want to fight for justice for our (LGBTQ) community.'
Miss International Queen Malaysia, Eva Foster, recently expressed her wish in the preliminary round speech. In a video shared by MIQ on its YouTube page, Eva said she was not at the pageant just to show her beauty but also to share the hard life that she lived in Malaysia as a transwoman.
In her speech, Eva also said as someone who can fight for the LGBTQ community, she will fight for justice for the community, and she’s inviting the world to be part of her mission. Her short speech was received by cheers and claps from the audience that the host said, “Wow, what a speech from Malaysia.”Eva, a 29-year-old businesswoman launched a social company that employs transwomen in Malaysia, including people of all races and backgrounds.
