M'sian Professor Says Dr Akmal Should Apologise for Calling Teresa Kok 'Old Nyonya'

While Umno veteran Ku Li believes that Dr Akmal Saleh owes no one an apology for his fiery remarks towards Teresa Kok, a Malaysian professor thinks otherwise.

In his YouTube video last night , Professor Tajuddin Rasdi explained why the Umno Youth Chief should apologise for his remark against DAP’s Teresa Kok – calling her old Nyonya and suggesting sticking a non-Halal sticker on her forehead. Professor Tajudin said that name-calling is only acceptable if the person is okay with it. Should the person being name-called feel offended, then it is considered a sin to name-call.

The academician also explained that the Prophet Muhammad forbids Muslims from using bad names or labelling, even to infidels and disbelievers who had fallen in the battle.
