A special day calls for an equally special cake!

A newlywed couple decided to go with a two-tier cake, just like the groom requested for their wedding ceremony in November last year, as reported by Sinar Harian.Instead of a traditional wedding cake, they opted for a two-tier burger cake weighing 1.5 kilograms as a unique alternative for their reception.

The groom’s dad, Dzulikhwan Ahmad Mokhtar, a burger vendor from Teluk Pulai, Klang, shared that the two-tier burger cake was a special request from his son.The 50-year-old dad chose to follow his son’s wish to make the couple’s big day special, which ended up catching the attention of most of the wedding guests.

“Most of the guests were excited to see the couple cut the burger. Some might find it unusual, but that’s what makes life interesting,” he said in an interview with Sinar Harian. He added that weddings don’t have to stick to traditional cakes, but what truly matters is that it’s meaningful and brings happiness to the bride and groom. Also read: “Performance by the bride herself” – M’sian Bride Rocks Out at Wedding With Awesome Guitar Solo
