An anonymous posting by a Malaysian man caught the attention of netizens recently after he revealed that he has been keeping a spreadsheet of all the expenses
The post, shared by the UUM Chinese Confession Facebook page also included a screenshot of the spreadsheet in question, with entries for items such as dinner, dessert and activities.In the post, the man shared that he only meets with his girlfriend once a week, in which they would go on a date with dinner and dessert. Based on his spreadsheet entry, each dinner costs at least RM60 while each dessert costs around RM40.
He also shared that he’s not the one paying for everything, as his girlfriend also paid for some expenses and prepared gifts for him on special occasions. On average, the man would spend around RM280 monthly on his girlfriend which would rise up to RM530 if there are special occasions on that month. Of course, such a sharing definitely piqued the interest of Malaysians, with many netizens in the comments tagging their partners and comparing the man’s expenses to their own.Meanwhile, another commenter said to their partner that the man’s total yearly expenses for his girlfriend are half of the expenses they paid for a 3-day-2-night trip.
