The government has launched the Bumiputera Economic Transformation Plan 2035 to encourage the Bumiputera community to play a more significant role in the socio-economic development of the country.
“PuTERA35 needs to be monitored, we want to plan but it is the responsibility of the people from government agencies, government companies, departments and ministries to make it happen. We will monitor closely and want this plan to be successful in order to dignify the Bumiputera people and the Malaysian people,” he said.
“In the planning stages, before we proceed to the implementation stages, who will be the ones implementing it? Definitely a Bumiputera agency. Then, they must ensure that the implementation process is more thorough, more efficient and more responsible,” he explained.
