Mobile Legends Professional League Malaysia , the local esports professional league for the mobile game Mobile Legends Bang Bang recently announced that it has concluded its investigation into allegations of match-fixing involving Bountee Esports and its members.
In an official statement, MPL Malaysia found that former Boutee Esports player Nik “Dominus” Muhyyiddin attempted to engage in match-fixing and offered financial incentives to two Bountee Esports players to throw the match.Accordingly, MPL Malaysia found that Muhyyiddin is guilty of :Although these are serious violations of integrity and professionalism, MPL Malaysia found that Bounty Esports didn’t commit any infractions.
The esports team has since iterated its commitment to strengthening its operations and management in cooperation with the league.
