The police recently launched an investigation into a video showing a disagreement between a road user and a toll booth operator near Jalan Batu 9, Cheras,
which went viral.
Kajang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof explained that the suspect not only used foul language at the operator but also kicked the toll booth wall.The 31-year-old suspect was arrested at 7 PM in a residential area in Hulu Langat, Selangor, along with his car, to help with the investigation.
The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief, which can lead to imprisonment for up to 2 years, a fine, or both.
