LUMUT : The bodies of the ten crew members, including three women, in the naval helicopter collision have been identified and will be sent to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh for post-mortem.
Perak police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said the bodies had been retrieved and were currently at the naval base hospital here."Their families have been informed. The two naval helicopters collided and crashed during training at the naval base's stadium in Lumut, Perak on Tuesday. A video of the incident showed one of the helicopters clipping the tail rotor of the other aircraft before the two crashed into the ground.The AgustaWestland AW139 crashed on the stairs at the TLDM stadium while the Eurocopter Fennec crashed into the swimming pool in the sports complex.
