Lululemon stock jumps over 8% after earnings top estimates
Shares of Lululemon Athletica Inc. LULU, +2.26% rallied more than 8% on Wednesday after the apparel company reported fourth-quarter earnings and expectations for first-quarter profit that topped Wall Street expectations. Lululemon said it earned $218 million, or $1.65 a share, in the quarter, compared with 88 cents a share in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2017. Adjusted for one-time items, the company earned $1.85 a share, compared with $1.33 a year ago. Sales rose 26% to $1.2 billion.
