Big Brother's Luke blames scandal on his 'twin.'

On the LowRes Wünderbred podcast, Luke joked that his twin brother, Duke, had said the racial slur, and not him. He was referring to the Big Brother 25 fan theory that Luke had a twin named Duke, who was switching places with him. The twin twist has been done before on Big Brother. Luke went to say that people hate him "for what my twin brother did." He added, "That was not me. That was my twin. That was Duke." Luke continued with the charade saying, "I don't even know what word he used. I never used that word in my life. I don't even know what it was.
Luke said that most people he's talked to agree that he should've gotten a slap on the wrist, and that the show shouldn't "cater to this nonsense, this madness. But everybody's afraid of it." It doesn't seem as though Big Brother fans who want an apology from Luke will be getting one any time soon. Luke doesn't seem to think that he did anything wrong.
Big Brother has a long history of ignoring racism on the show, and it was a relief for fans to see Big Brother enforce their updated code of conduct. Luke should apologize to anyone he offended, instead of trying to defend his use of the n-word. It's disappointing to see that he just thinks that what happened is nonsense. Most people understand that he isn't racist, but they also want people to stop casually using the n-word.
