The sister of one of Ireland's greatest trad singers, Luke Kelly , has told how her brother would be "morto" about his iconic status, 40 years after his death. Bessie Kelly - Luke's last surviving sister - sat down with the Irish Mirror to mark the 40th anniversary of the legend's death on January 30, 1984. The nation went into mourning when beloved Luke succumbed to a brain tumour at the age of just 43. In the days after, the city came to a standstill for his funeral.
