Luka Doncic leads Mavericks to easy win over rival Suns

Luka Doncic leads five Dallas Mavericks players with at least 16 points scored in their blowout of the visiting Phoenix Suns.

Luka Doncic recorded 33 points, eight assists and six rebounds and the Dallas Mavericks halted a 10-game regular-season losing streak against Phoenix by routing the visiting Suns 130-111 on Monday night .

Christian Wood contributed 18 points and nine rebounds, Tim Hardaway Jr. made five 3-pointers and scored 17 points and Josh Green scored 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting for the Mavericks. Deandre Ayton registered 20 points and eight rebounds and Cameron Payne added 14 points and 10 assists for the Suns, who lost for just the second time in the past nine games. Mikal Bridges, Damion Lee and Landry Shamet all scored 13 points apiece for Phoenix.Chris Paul missed his 14th straight game for Phoenix.

The score was 33-15 entering the second quarter and Dallas elevated the lead to 22 on Wood’s dunk with 10:54 left.
