“Housewife”-turned-cabaret chanteuse Luann de Lesseps is more than willing to take over the role of Fanny Brice in “Funny Girl” on Broadway.Like de Lesseps, Broadway was abuzz this week over the backstage intrigue and casting news surrounding the musical’s revival.
Current star Beanie Feldstein announced Sunday night that she was bowing out of the show at the end of the month instead of Sept. 25, a scant four months since she started playing the role originated by Barbra Streisand. “Once the production decided to take the show in a different direction, I made the extremely difficult decision to step away sooner than anticipated,” the “Impeachment: American Crime Story” star cryptically wrote
