A low pressure area off the coast of Catanduanes will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to several parts of the country, PAGASA reported in its 24-hour weather forecast on Tuesday. Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over the Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar due to the trough of the LPA.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds, as well as slight to moderate coastal water conditions, will be observed throughout the country.Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
