LPA affecting Metro Manila to turn into tropical depression in 12 hours--Pagasa
THE low pressure area off Sorsogon affecting Metro Manila and adjoining provinces may develop into a tropical depression in about 12 to 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration develops into a tropical depression, this will have a domestic name of 'Rosal', the 18th storm this year and the first this month,' Villamil said.
Aside from Metro Manila, Pagasa said the LPA is also bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Central Luzon, Calabarzon , Mimaropa , Bicol Region and Visayas.Meanwhile, the shear line, the point where the cold and warm air converge, is affecting Cagayan Valley where cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may also be experienced, the state-run weather agency said.
