Lower sales for local E&E sector seen this year

Globally, sales in E&E sector are expected to drop by about 4% in 2023.

Wong said MSIA members in the consumer electronic products, personal computers and smart devices segments were also are projecting their revenues to decrease this year.

“We expect the growth in the E&E sector in 2022 to be between 17% and 19%,” said Wong. This is compared with about 18% growth in 2021.
