Kevin Bacon won over this Vogue writer by singing Beyoncé to his goats
There’s never a bad time to appreciate the celebrities who seem to be having a little fun in their lives. So, in a new column,
we’ll be celebrating the people absolutely nailing life right now—may their joie de vivre inspire us all. I’ll admit it: I am not always a fan of over-50 white, cis-het, male celebrities who try to be quirky. Like, you’ve already won the lottery and probably have the world’s most famous directors on speed dial, not to mention a bevy of attractive young women willing to sleep with you, do I really have to find it endearing that you, IDK, love pranks?
However, there’s an exception to every rule. And in this case, said exception is Kevin Bacon. When I saw that he had recently Instagrammed a video of himself playing Beyoncé songs for his goats, I plotzed—and really, you need to see it for yourself:Does Bacon look like an elder lesbian in his tank top, tight jeans, sunglasses, and trucker hat? Maybe. Is that the root of my fascination with this video? Perhaps.
Bey response when?! Maybe a tribute video by Jay-Z feat. Blue with special cameos from Rumi and Sir?
