The 48th edition of the MMFF has returned to the streets, kicking off with the 'Parade of Stars,' which saw colorful floats of participating films line up the street once more. | HMallorcaINQ
The parade, which covered a stretch of 7.36 kilometers from Welcome Rotonda-Quezon Avenue to the Quezon Memorial Circle, featured the colorful floats of eight local films participating in the festival.Despite the cloudy weather, the streets were filled with excited supporters crowding to see their favorite local celebrities perched on their respective floats sporting designs that are based on this year’s film entries.
The parade kicked off with the float of “Family Matters” starring Noel Trinidad, Liza Lorena, Noni Buencamino, Mylene Dizon, Agot Isidro, and Nikki Valdez. The float follows the design of a Spanish-style house, however, Trinidad and Lorena were not present during the event.
